When hero Jayam Ravi spoke, he said, "Vanamagan is a result of the hard work of all those who put their belief in a good script. Only someone like Vijay who has inifinite passion for Tamil cinema can make a film like this. It deals with the life of tribals who live together as joint families."

He then went to say, "If you are a Tamilian, please do not upload the film in net. I am positive that the film is going to get back all the money that was invested. If not, I am willing to do one more film for Vijay without taking remuneration”
