Shraddha Kapoor's next delayed by a month

Express Features

The biopic on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar starring Shraddha Kapoor has been pushed ahead by a month. The film was scheduled to release on July 14, and was supposed to have a box office clash with Jagga Jasoos. However, reports later said that the makers were planning to shift the date a week ahead, and that the film might release on July 28. Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor’s Mubarakan is slated to release on July 28, too, apart from Madhur Bandarkar's Indu Sarkar and Tigmanshu Dhulia's Raagdesh.

Now, the makers of Haseena have decided to release it on August 18, as they need more time for the promotions. It might be a solo release that week.

The film stars Shraddha's real brother Siddhant Kapoor as her reel brother and Ankur Bhatia plays her husband. The film directed by Apoorva Lakhia is bankrolled by Nahida Khan, Swiss Entertainment, Sameer Antulay and Babu Tyagi.
