Vivegam audio rights sold for whopping amount

Sony Music has bagged the audio rights of Ajith’s much-anticipated film, Vivegam. We hear the deal was signed a couple of days ago, and the audio company paid over Rs 2 crore to acquire the music rights of this spy-thriller.

The official Twitter handle of Sony Music posted a video on Tuesday evening, and Shridhar Subramaniam of the label said he was hoping that Vivegam breaks all previous music records.

While the audio is expected to officially hit the stores by next month, reports suggest that the makers will release a few singles to gauge the audience's reaction. Vivegam, produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, is said to have four to five songs. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the story is rumoured to revolve around a crime that happens in Tamil Nadu and the protagonist whose investigation of the case leads him to Europe.
