Producer turned actor RK Suresh has a number of films in his line up, including Billa Pandi, Vettai Naai and Vargam where he plays the lead, plus other films in which he's a part of the supporting cast. However, this hasn't stopped him from signing a new project, titled Thennattan

Talking to CE, RK Suresh says, "The film is a rural subject and will deal with current issues such as agriculture and jallikattu. I was approached with this script for two years ago. As I'm concentrating more on village subjects now, I feel this would be the best time to do it."

The film, directed by newbie Vijay Paandi, had its pooja ceremony on Wednesday. It is bankrolled by Saravanan under his Thivisha Reshma Creations banner. The hunt is on for the rest of the cast members, and the cast list will be officially announced in less than ten days according to Suresh.
