Director Suri first viewer of Mugulu Nage

In the highly competitive cinema world, it is rare that a director appreciates the work of another. But Suri, well-known Sandalwood director, took little time to start talking about Yogaraj Bhat’s upcoming film Mugulu Nage. Suri is currently completing the editing and dubbing work on his forthcoming film Tagaru, and will shoot its last schedule from July 1.

Despite his busy schedule, he took time off to watch the final copy of Mugulu Nage a couple of days ago along with its director, lead actor Ganesh, producer Syed Salaam and a few technicians. Suri only had praise for Bhat’s movie. "After watching the film, I must say this is definitely a comeback film for Yogaraj Bhat, Mugulu Nage has his trademark and Ganesh too has acted very well. Overall it is a feel good film."

With Bhat and Ganesh combination, everyone is expecting a film like Mungaru Male, but Suri says that it is "beyond that" and that it "captures today's trend."

"Few director-actor combinations work like magic, as is this case with this duo. It looked like Ganesh has surrendered to Bhatru's direction, and Bhat has the knack of bringing out the actor's talent, and that shows in the film. The movie is a perfect package of entertainment," he adds.

Suri also says that the story is nothing like that of Autograph or Tamil film, Premam, and is completely different.

Mugulu Nage, distributed by Jack Manju, features Apoorva Arora, Nikitha Narayan, and Ashika Ranganath, with Amulya in a cameo role.

The film has V Harikrishna’s music and cinematography by Sugnaan
