Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, who were seen together in the 2016 single Befikra, will now be co-starring in a feature film, Baaghi 2.

Since the time the sequel was announced, Shraddha Kapoor, Disha Patani and Kriti Sanon were a few of the names that had popped up for the lead role opposite Tiger. After many speculations, producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed that Disha had bagged the role, adding, "They share an amazing on-screen chemistry, which was evident in their look test. Disha is just perfect for the role. I am happy with my cast and am excited to kick-start the project."

According to reports, Tiger will be heading to Hong Kong next month to train for the action sequences under martial arts director, Tony Ching. He is said to be undergoing a month-long training for the different styles of Wushu (Chinese martial arts) which is Bak Mei, Choy Li Fut and Wing Chun. Baaghi 2 is the sequel of 2016’s Baaghi directed by Sabir Khan, which originally starred Tiger and Shraddha. The sequel will be directed by Choreographer Ahmed Khan and is slated to release April 27 of next year.
