Puneeth Rajkumar to resume work on Anjaniputra

Puneeth Rajkumar is slowly coming to terms with the loss of his mother, with whom he was known to be very close, We hear that he will resume work from June 22 on his forthcoming film Anjaniputra. The actor had cancelled all his work commitements for over a month including this film's shoot, to be by his mother Parvathamma Rajkumar's side, who breathed her last on May 31.

Anjaniputra, directed by A Harsha, has completed a little more than 50 per cent of its shoot. The director, who is also a choreographer, is currently in Slovenia to shoot Bharjari's songs. He will be back in a couple of days and gear up for the shoot, which is going to be done in Bengaluru.

The film produced by MN Kumar features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, with Hariprriya making a cameo appearance. This is the first time both the heroines will be paired opposite Puneeth. Another highlight of Anjaniputra is Ramya Krishnan playing the role of Puneeth's mother. The film has music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Swamy.
