Kamal to revive Thalaivan Irukkindraan

The actor confirmed that it will be his next after Sabaash Naidu

Thalaivan Irukkindraan, Kamal Haasan’s anticipated political film, has once again been revived. In an interview, Kamal confirmed that he’ll work on the film after completing his current projects —Vishwaroopam 2 and Sabaash Naidu

The film was planned a couple of years back as a Hindi-Tamil bilingual with Kamal doing the lead in Tamil. The Hindi version, titled Amar Hain, was supposed to star Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan in the lead. It was also speculated that AR Rahman would be composing the songs back then. It’s currently not clear if Kamal plans to make the film with the originally planned cast and crew.

The film is touted to be about the life of a politician.
