Gopichand has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming flick Gautham Nanda. The actor last seen in Soukhyam claims that the success of the Sampath Nandi-directorial is crucial to him. “It’s been two years since I’ve had a release. Gautham Nanda has shaped up well and I’m confident that the film will impress the audience.”

He had to go for a complete makeover for the film and talking about the transformation, he says, “I play Ghattamaneni Gautham in the film and I had to show variations in my looks. I got my stylist  to give me a makeover. I’m amazed at the response for the first look and feel like I should have tried this look long back.”

He agrees that his career is not going the way he expected. “I have made some wrong choices. Those decisions affected my career and forced me to take some gap. It’s alright as things are not in our hands and I’m hoping to bounce back with Gautham Nanda,” he adds.
