Nayanthara has added to her ever-growing list of promising films with Ko Ko. The film, a dark comedy, is being produced by Lyca Productions and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The director, though a debutant, isn't entirely new to the industry. He directed Simbu, Hansika and Jai in Vettai Mannan, a film that got shelved for unknown reasons. Nelson is also the Creative Director of the Bigg Boss Tamil show.

He holds his cards very close to his chest. "We haven't confirmed anything yet. The preliminary talks are on right now. We'll get a clearer picture in a week's time," he says.

A source reveals that the film will be a female-centric story, in keeping with some of the films Nayanthara done recently. The film is also said to be made on a big budget with Anirudh reportedly signed on as the composer. The team has also registered the title with an alternate spelling- Kho Kho - and it's not yet known which of the two they will eventually go with. Yogi Babu has been confirmed for an important role in the film, and talks are on with Saranya Ponvannan as well.

Nayanthara meanwhile has Imaikkaa Nodigal, Aramm, Velaikkaran and Kolaiyudhir Kaalam lined up this year. She has also been confirmed to play the lead in Telugu star Balakrishna’s next film.
