Director Krishna Vamsi's long-delayed film Nakshatram is set for release on August 4. The film starring Sundeep Kishan and Regina in the lead roles has cleared the censor scrutiny and has obtained a U/A certificate from the authorities.

Although the initial release was planned for July, it didn’t get through due to competition from Varun Tej-starrer Fidaa. However, the makers have finally zeroed in on the release date. Nakshatram is the story of a young man, who aspires to become a cop.

Sai Dharam, Tej, and Pragya Jaiswal will be seen in important cameos in the actioner produced by S Venu Gopal, Sajju and K Srinivasulu. The recently released trailer created quite a buzz among the audience. Mani Sharma has scored the music for the film.
