Ghibran has composed the music for a single titled Kalam Salaam, which was launched in the city on Friday. The video song directed by filmmaker Vasanth Sai traces the life of late President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Ghibran says, “The lyrics have been penned by Vairamuthu sir and Sid Sriram has sung it in Tamil. It will be recorded in Telugu by SPB sir soon. I am more than glad to be a part of this initiative. Kalam inspired the youth to dream. This anthem will leave a positive impact in the minds of students.”

He adds, “I came up with 25 tunes and we selected an appropriate one. Vairamuthu sir says that this is one of the best songs he has written. The song has come out so well. Vasanth sir shot the video in some prominent places associated with Kalam, like ISRO and so on. A memorial has been built in for Kalam in his native Rameshwaram. It will be inaugurated on July 27 by the Prime Minister. The grand event will also witness the participation of chief ministers from six different states.”
