The shooting of actor Ram Charan’s upcoming film Rangasthalam 1985 is progressing at a rapid pace. Recently, the team had wrapped up the second schedule at Godavari delta and is now gearing up to resume the shoot with a new schedule in Hyderabad.

According to a source, the team is spending Rs 5 crore to build a village set that has a market place and a residential colony in Hyderabad. “A lavish 80s-era settlement is being constructed by the team at Bhooth Bungalow, Jubilee Hills. The scenes involving the lead pair of Ram Charan and Samantha, and other members of the principal cast, will be shot from July 24 onwards for 35 days. With this, a major portion of the film will be wrapped up,” the source says.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Rangasthalam is a revenge-drama with brother sentiment and will have Ram Charan playing a youth who cannot hear. With Sukumar at the helm, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and also features Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. It will release during Sankranthi.
