As we'd previously told you, the pre-production works of Imsai Arasan 23-am Pulikece's sequel are going on at a brisk pace. The latest buzz is that Vadivelu will be playing a triple role in the film. 

In the original Imsai Arasan, he had played the dual roles of a king and his revolutionary twin brother. The veteran comedian isn't new to playing multiple roles. He has played a triple role in Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan. He has also done dual roles in many films such as Tenaliraman, Nenjil, Bagavathi and in fact, he has even essayed four roles in Manadhai Thirudivittai. 

The sequel to Imsai Arasan will be bankrolled by Shankar, who also produced the original, along with Lyca Productions. It's not clear yet if director Chimbu Deven, who directed the first part, will join the team.
