Vijay's Mersal dubbing in full swing

With a huge chunk of portions shot in and around Chennai, France, and Rajasthan, the Mersal team started the dubbing process last Saturday. While reports suggest that the film will release for Diwali, it looks like the Vijay-starrer will face competition from Vikram's Sketch. However, the latter's director Vijay Chander is yet to make an official confirmation that it's releasing alongside Mersal. The last time Vijay and Vikram had a face-off was in 2005. (Sivakasi vs Maja). Previously, their films Tamizhan and Gemini had clashed at the box-office, besides Puthiya Geethai-Kadhal Sadugudu and Thirumalai-Pithamagan. Mersel stars Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menon in the lead roles alongside Vijay, who plays a triple role. The music of Mersal is composed by A R Rahman.
