Kammula compares Fidaa to Kushi

The chemistry between Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi in the film is the talk of the town

Express Features

Director Sekhar Kammula has compared the chemistry between the lead pair of Fidaa  — Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi to that of Pawan Kalyan and Bhumika’s in Kushi. Interestingly, Pallavi will be seen as a Pawan Kalyan fan in the romedy, while Varun’s character is modeled after Balu, one of the popular roles played by Pawan Kalyan in Tholi Prema.

“Someone told me that the lead pair’s chemistry in Fidaa resembles to that of Kushi. I must say, their romantic track will cast a spell and gives a feel of Kushi and Tholi Prema. Sai Pallavi is a great performer and Varun has all the good traits of Chiranjeevi, Naga Babu and Pawan Kalyan," said Sekhar Kammula at the audio launch of the film.

"Although I directed the film, Fidaa has the midas touch of Dil Raju. I’m sure the film will stand out as a different film in Telugu,” he added.
