Sentiments and superstitions go hand-in-hand in the industry. It needs no introduction that actor Balakrishna is apparently superstitious about kick-starting the shooting of his new films with an action sequence. Continuing the tradition, the Legend actor will begin shooting for a high-voltage action sequence for his 102nd film tentatively titled Jaya Simha.

“Contrary to the reports, the first schedule of Balakrishna’s 102nd film will commence in a special set in Hyderabad. It’s going to be an action sequence and will be shot for four to five days in the first week of August. It has become a custom for Balayya to begin the proceedings of his films with a fight sequence, and this time too, he is following the sentiment,” reveals a source close to the actor.

The second schedule will commence in Kumbakonam from August 13 onwards and it is learnt that Balayya has allocated a stretch of 40 days for this schedule. “The team will leave for Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu in the second week of August and the unit will wrap up major part of the film in this schedule,” the source adds.

Nayanthara plays the female lead in the film directed by KS Ravi Kumar and has music by Chiranthan Bhat.
