We'd told you that cinematographer-director Vijay Milton has been busy writing an action-based script. And now, we have confirmation that this will be a sequel to his critically-acclaimed Goli Soda. The official shoot of the film began on Monday, and director Suseenthiran took to his micro-blogging page and wished Milton luck on his new project.

A source says, "His last two films - 10 Endrathukulla and Kadugu didn't fare well at the box-office, so he has carefully penned this script. We'll be announcing the actors in a week. As of now the famous Malayalam writer, Chemban Vinod Jose, is on board to play an important role."

While it was widely speculated that it would be a sports film, Milton himself had told us that, "there are only a few portions related to basketball players. It's going to be an entertainer with all the necessary masala elements."

Set against the backdrop of Koyambedu market in Chennai, Goli Soda was about four teenagers' pursuit for identity. It was produced on a budget of about Rs 2 crore, but managed to mint over Rs 15 crore in the first few weeks. So expectations are high for this upcoming film.
