Rana Daggubati’s political drama Nene Raju Nene Mantri is all set to release on August 11 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The filmmakers have decided to pit the film against several other films such as Lie and Jaya Janaki Nayaka during the Independence day weekend.

Directed by Teja, the film also features Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa as the female leads. The first look poster and the theatrical trailer released recently increased the expectations on the film which shows Rana as an ambitious young politician. Rana has pinned high expectations on this project and believes that this film will give him a foothold as a solo hero in the industry.  

The quadrilingual shot predominantly in Kurnool, Karaikudi, Hyderabad and Rajamahendravaram is being bankrolled by D Suresh Babu, Bharath Chowdary and Kiran Reddy.
