Remember Kishore who starred as a child artiste in Pasanga? Now, he's turning hero with Uruthikol. Directed by Ayyanar, former assistant to Krishna of Nedunchalai fame, the plot revolves around adolescent love.

The filmmaker tells CE, "Uruthikol is set against a rural backdrop, and has a strong message for the audience, specifically parents. The story delves deeply into the negative side of romance and how it affects the psyche of teens. The film also talks about the strong bond between a father and son."

Uruthikol has Kaali Venkat, choreographer Sivashankar, and Sharmila in pivotal roles. The director assures us that the screenplay will be realistic. "I have included some real-life incidents that happened during my early days. I have also paid attention to stunts and the dialogues," he adds.
