It's a wrap for Vivegam

The second single from the film will be released on Monday

The shooting of Ajith's spy film Vivegam, which was announced on July 6 2016, has been completed in exactly one year, and on Thursday, the film's director, Siva took to Twitter to share the news. 

 

Akshara Haasan, who's making her debut in Tamil cinema with the film also shared her joy via Twitter. 

 

Vivek Oberoi, who's also debuting in Tamil cinema with this film said, "An incredible and an unforgettable experience working with director Siva, Ajith anna and the Vivegam team. The countdown begins Thala fans." 

It was also revealed that comedian Karunakaran plays the role of an NRI Tamil named Aps and he'll have a good screen space alongside Ajith, whose name in the film is AK. 

Meanwhile, the director and music director, Anirudh, has confirmed that the film's second single, after Surviva, will release on July 10. This single, titled Thalai Viduthalai is penned by Siva himself.

The film, which will be two hours and twenty minutes in length, will have three action sequences. With cinematography by Vettri, the editing is handled by Ruben, with Milan's art direction. The film is expected to release on August 10.
