Sai Pallavi, a thorough professional

The actress is playing a village girl in Fidaa

Actress Sai Pallavi, who gained prominence as Malar across South India, thanks to her beguiling performance in Premam, has pulled off an impossible feat with ease. The starlet, who plays a village belle named Bhanumati in Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming love story Fidaa, has dubbed her lines for the Telugu film.

“Actresses from other languages might not be able to dub lines for all the roles, especially in new languages, but Sai Pallavi is an exception. She quickly grasped director Sekhar Kammula’s thoughts and did what all required like a pro while dubbing her lines for Fidaa. Being a Tamil girl, she perfected the lines and got the Telangana diction right,” says a close source from the film’s unit.

Produced by Dil Raju, the film also stars Varun Tej and will release in July.
