The ambiguity over director VV Vinayak’s next project is over. Producer C Kalyan, who has been negotiating with the director from February, has finally got things in place to revive his ambitious project Durga.

The high-voltage actioner will feature Sai Dharam Tej in the lead and has story by Akula Siva. “C Kalyan has been in talks with Vinayak for some time now. However, things materialised only now after the producer agreed to offer what the director had quoted, and is willing to spend a bomb on the production., " says a source.

The source also tells us the film will be launched in August, and regular shooting will commence in September after Tej wraps up Jawaan.
