Gurinder Chadha's film, which was earlier named Viceroy's House will now release in India on August 18 with a new name, Partition 1947. Earlier this year, the film was released in Berlin and United Kingdom, and received postive response.

Sharddha Kapoor's biopic on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar is also releasing on August 18. Haseena is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and stars her real brother Siddhanth Kapoor and Ankur Bhatia. The film was to initially slated to release on July 14, but it was pushed ahead to avoid box office clash with Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos.

Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi, too, is releasing on August 18.
