Anushka Shetty, who was last seen in SS Rajamouli's Baahubali:The Conclusion, has recently wrapped up the shoot of her next film titled Bhagmati. The G Ashok directorial, which is currently in pre-production, is expected to release on Independence day this year.

Touted to be suspense thriller, Bhagmati has Anushka playing the titular role, while Aadhi Pinisetty will be seen as the antagonist. The film, which features stars like Vidyu Raman, Jayaram, Unni Mukundan, and Asha Sarath in supporting roles, is being produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy under the banner of UV Creations.
