Writer-turned-producer Kona Venkat has recently announced a new project with actors Taapsee and Aadhi Pinisetty in the lead. The first schedule will take place in Hyderabad from December 27 to January 30, followed by a schedule each in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. Now we hear that actor Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame has been roped in to play the other lead in the film to be directed by Hari.

Speaking to CE, Kona Venkat says, “We have signed Ritika and the film will showcase a different dimension of her. Her getup and performance will make the audience swoon.”

The film, he says, breaks the mould and attempts to present the lead characters in a unique way. “It’s a gripping thriller loaded with adequate entertainment and emotions, and explores the untapped talent of our principal actors. This film will be several notches above a regular Telugu film,” he adds.

The untitled film will also be made in Hindi. “A big production house and a top director have come forward to make it in Bollywood. It’s going to be the same script. The pre-production of the Hindi version will begin once we wrap up the Telugu version,” reveals Kona.

Gopi Sundar is scoring the music for the film, while Raju Thota of Arjun Reddy fame will be its cinematographer.
