We had told you Seenu Ramasamy was directing Udhayanidhi Stalin in a "commercial entertainer with lots of emotions." Now, there is a buzz that Tamannaah has been approached to play the female lead of this film. A source says, "Both Seenu and Tamannaah have worked together in Dharmadurai. And she is almost on the board." 

While shooting will commence next year in January, we hear the film is likely to be named after the Kamal Haasan song, Kanne Kalai Maane. However, official confirmation is awaited. 

"In a day or two, the music director and the rest of the cast and crew will be finalised," adds the source.
