Sai Pallavi, who's making her Tamil debut with Karu, was previously rumoured to be a part of Suriya's project with Selvaraghavan. Eventually, it was said that Rakul Preet replaced her. 

While there's still some uncertainty, we learn that Sai Pallavi is, in fact, likely t filmo be a part of this film. And it's being said that the actor met the filmmaker recently. 

During the promotion of Theeran Adhigaara Ondru, Rakul had said that she was a part of Suriya film already. If Sai Pallavi agrees to do this project, Selvaraghavan will be pulling off a casting coup of sorts. 

Sai Pallavi is also a part of Dhanush's Maari 2.
