Director Harish Shankar, who made a name for himself by churning out commercial entertainers has pulled off a casting coup of sorts. The director is now ready with his new film which features Sharwanand, Nithiin and Rakul Preet in lead roles.

Titled Dagudu Moothalu, the film will be shepherded by ace producer Dil Raju and will go on floors in mid-2018. “It’s a mature love story which revolves around four principal characters. While Rakul and Nithiin play a wife and a husband, the other lead opposite Sharwanand is yet to be locked,” says a source.

Interestingly, Rakul played a housewife in her recent outing Khakee and is now back in a similar role. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised.
