Anson Paul, who made his Tamil acting debut in the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Remo, is on board for Oviya's next, directed by newbie Anita. This untitled film will have Anson playing the lead. A source says the actor just joined the sets two days ago.

"It's an experimental venture. The team is scouting for other artistes and technicians," adds the source. Apparently, Arav of Bigg Boss Tamil fame was supposed to play the hero, but due to unknown reasons, the role has gone to Anson. 

Last seen in Solo, Anson has two Malayalam films, Aadu 2 and Kala Viplavam Pranayam in the pipeline. Oviya, on the other hand, is busy with Kanchana 3.
