As we we had previously reported, Vikram’s son Dhruv will be making his acting debut with the official remake of the Telugu hit film, Arjun Reddy. Titled Varma, the film will be directed by Bala. The latest update is that the film’s shooting will commence from March next year once the heroine for the project is finalised.

Vikram recently released a video via his Instagram profile in which he pointed out that the search for a new face is on for the role of the female lead.

It’s worth noting that Shriya Sharma, who appeared as a child artiste in Sillunu Oru Kadhal, is apparently being considered for the role.

Sources also state that a still is to be released by the makers before shooting commences.
