Shane Nigam, whose next Eeda will hit the screens soon, will have a packed year ahead. The actor is likely to kickstart 2018 with a mega project, titled Valiyaperunnal. The film, made under the banner of Anwar Rasheed Productions, will be helmed by a debutant director.  Said to be a big-budget production, it is likely to go on the floors in a month.

After that around May, Shane will take up another debutant director's project titled Painkili. Directed by Devan, Painkili will have Shane playing an artist. A romantic comedy, this film will have the actor undergoing a lot of physical transformations. It will also exploit Shane's skill as a dancer.

Next in line may be Kumbalangi Nights, which is already in the news for bringing together Dileesh Pothan, Syam Pushkaran and Fahadh Faasil. While the trio turn producers for the film, newbie Madhu C Narayanan will direct it. Syam  Pushkaran also pens the script.

The actor has just wrapped up Shaji N Karun's Oolu. The film explores the trauma of a rape victim, a minor girl from Malabar. Esther Anil also plays a prominent role in the film.

Shane's next to hit the screens Eeda is a love story set in Kannur, in which he stars opposite Nimisha Sajayan.
