Filming for Akshay Kumar's Gold under Reema Kagti's direction has concluded. The actor shared a video of himself on Twitter on Sunday announcing the completion of the film's production.
The film is a sports drama about India's first Olympic medal win as a free nation in 1948 at the 14th Olympic Games at London. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner, it also marks the Bollywood debut of popular TV actor Mouni Roy.
Gold is scheduled to hit the screens on Independence Day 2018.
