Ramprakash Rayappa, who directed Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum and Pokkiri Raja, is ready for his next project titled Suttu Pidikka Utharavu. The Vikranth-starred will also have directors Mysskin and Suseenthiran as part of its cast. The latter will be making his acting debut with this film.

Talking to CE about the film, Vikranth says, "It's an edge-of-the-seat thriller. We'll start filming in January after Pongal and will be wrapping it up in a single schedule. The shooting will happen in Chennai and Coimbatore. While I'm not at liberty to reveal too much, I can tell you that all the three characters are important."

Speaking about Suseenthiran's acting debut, the actor says, "He has turned down a number of offers before, including the chance to appear as the villain in a big star's film. He only wanted to concentrate on direction. It was actually Mysskin sir's idea, and then our director asked me to convince Suseenthiran sir." Vikranth adds that half an hour into the narration, Suseenthiran was floored by the script and agreed to act. "Pandiya Naadu was a landmark film in my career, so I'm extremely happy that we're acting together now."

Suttu Pidikka Utharavu deals with a serious crime, and while Vikranth and Suseenthiran play the roles of private security firm employees, Mysskin will be seen as a police officer who is assigned to the case. PK Ram Mohan of Kalpatharu Pictures is producing this film.
