In recent times there have been many reports circulating about the poor box office collections of popular films, including the recently released Karthi-starrer Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru. 

The film's producer SR Prabhu, who has also backed both critically and commercially successful  films like, Joker and Maanagaram in the past, took to Twitter to express his disappointment over such false reports: 

SR Prabhu's statement comes at a time when Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru has won praises from audiences and critics alike.
