Actor Vishnu Manchu and director G Nageswara Reddy’s third outing Achari America Yatra (AAY), tipped to be a comic caper will now hit the screens on January 26. The film’s story, penned by popular writer Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy, is inspired by a multi-million dollar call centre scam.

“With Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0's release moved to April, the makers of Achari America Yatra have decided to release their film on Republic Day. The film is a blend of humour, emotion and entertainment and will showcase Brahmanandam and Vishnu as a guru-sishya duo,” says a source.

Pragya Jaiswal plays Vishnu's love interest in the film presented by ML Kumar Chowdary. Shot across Hyderabad, USA and Malaysia, the film also features Kota Srinivasa Rao and Posani Krishna Murali in crucial roles. It has dialogues by Darling Swamy and music by SS Thaman.
