Puneeth to go back to mid 20s for Shashank’s directorial

A Sharadhaa

While fans of Puneeth Rajkumar are eagerly waiting for the release of Anjaniputra, a lot of hype has been created about his next film with director Shashank, as it will be made under Puneeth’s home banner PRK Productions. The first technician to come on board for this project is composer V Harikrishna. This will be the music director’s 11th film with Puneeth. Harikrishna gave the industry the hit song Bombe Heluthaite from Raajakumara. His first association with Puneeth was for Raj - The Showman, and was followed by hit films like Ram, Jackie, Hudugaru, and Paramathma.

The makers are planning to begin shooting from January for Shashank’s film, which promises to throw a lot of surprises at audiences, including a massive transformation in Puneeth’s look. The director tells us that the actor is using the trial-and-error method with his look for the film, like whether he wants to be bearded or clean-shaven.

Shashank did not wish to dish out details about the characterisation, but our sources say that Puneeth will be seen playing a character in his mid 20s, attempting to look as young as 25. The director is keen to talk about the look, and will shed more light when the characters are revealed to the public.
