The shoot of Punyalan Private Limited, the sequel to Jayasurya-starrer Punyalan Agarbattis, is over. Director Ranjith Sankar took to Facebook to share the news. He also announced that the movie will be hitting the screens on November 17. 

The movie, which will see Jayasurya reprising his character of Joy Thakkolkaran, will apparently have the flavours of Thrissur. Though the director is tight-lipped about the story line, it is said that the movie will deal with another episode of Joy Thakkolkaran's life. 

While Aju Varghese and Sreejith Ravi will reprise their roles, Nyla Usha has been replaced with Sruthi Ramachandran.  Meanwhile, the makers Dreamz and Beyond have resorted to a unique marketing strategy to promote their movie. The team has erected miniature elephants at many movie halls.
