Chandini and Guru Somasundaram in a thriller

Chandini Tamilarasan and Guru Somasundaram have teamed up for a crime thriller directed by newcomer Manoj. 

The untitled project will be based on a crime that happens in the city. Talking about it to CE, Chandini says, "I play the role of an IT Professional in this film. It's about 60 per cent complete. We're currently in Pondicherry for a schedule, and will wrap up the shoot by next month." She also tells us that, apart from the director, there are a number of other newcomers in the film. "It's been a great learning experience to work with Somu sir," she adds. 

Guru Somasundaram, while talking about the film, says, "I play the lead role which has dark shades." Sources add that the actor will play the role of a gangster in the film.
