Mohanlal to join Odiyan sets after Bhutan vacay

The actor will join the sets of the Shrikumar Menon-directorial after a much-needed break

Mohanlal, who is awaiting the release of his next Velipadinte Pustakam, is currently on a vacation to Bhutan. The actor who has taken a much-needed break will fly back to the sets of Odiyan in Varnasi after his vacation. This was confirmed by Odiyan director Shrikumar Menon to Express.

The filming of Odiyan, which was supposed to start in August, was postponed to September.  The movie has Mohanlal playing Manikyan, a member of the Odiyan tribe. The movie, with elements of magical realism, will also have Manju Warrier playing a significant role. As per reports, action choreographer Peter Hein has already flown down to join the sets of Odiyan.
