Kalyani Priyadarshan, daughter of filmmaker Priyadarshan and actress Lissy Lakshmi, is the female lead for the Akhil Akkineni-starrer Hello. Initially, it was rumoured that Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor supposed to play the role, but it looks like Kalyani has bagged it now.

Akhil Akkineni released the first look of the film, and also posted a video featuring the two of them and others, including Jr NTR, Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Surya saying 'Hello' to the audience.

Directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame and produced by Annapurna Studios, the film is slated for a December 22nd release.

Kalyani completed her higher education in New York and later worked as an assistant director in Vikram's Iru Mugan. Interestingly, Vikram Kumar has assisted Priyadarshan and knew Kalyani as a child.
