The latest we hear about Biju Menon-starrer Rosapoo is that Sunny Wayne has opted out of the project. The movie, that has a strong friendship angle to it, was initially supposed to star Sunny and Biju Menon in prominent roles.

However, the latest buzz is that Sunny has opted out due to date issues. Director Vinu Joseph has confirmed this to CE.

Rosapoo is supposed to go on the floors soon. The film will also mark the comeback of Tamil actress Anjali to Malayalam. Anjali, who had earlier been part of the Jayasurya-starrer Payyans, will apparently be playing an important character who is half-Kannadiga. According to sources, her character is that of a bold woman.

Rosapoo, which also stars Dileesh Pothan and Soubin Shahir, is said to have 143 new faces.
