Previously, there were reports saying Vignesh Shivn would direct Sivakarthikeyan. It all started with the official Twitter handle of SUN TV posting something to that effect. Now, we hear that, while talks are actually on for a film, nothing has been finalised yet. According to sources, Vignesh Shivn is likely to do a film with Vijay Sethupathi once he completes Thaana Serndha Kootam. The two of them were supposed to do a film called Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, but the project didn’t take off as Vijay Sethupathi could not spare dates for the project. It's not known yet if the upcoming film is going to be a fresh script or the old one.
