Simbu’s next to be an English film

Express Features

After Simbu’s AAA bombed at the box office, the Manmadhan star has come out with a surprise announcement for his next film. His next project will be made in English, and will be dubbed in Tamil and other regional languages. The actor took to Twitter where he dismissed previous speculations that his film would be made in English and Tamil, saying, “The rumours spreading about two versions are false. There’s only one version—which is English. Thanks Gautham Menon for penning the dialogues. The film will be dubbed in Tamil and other main regional languages.”

The untitled project will have Simbu donning the director’s hat for the second time after Vallavan, and will be made without any songs or an interval break.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has already completed the background score for the film, which will be edited by Antony. Cinematographer Santosh Sivan will be collaborating for the first time with Simbu on this film.
