Barking up the right tree

Two dogs will play crucial roles in Srikanth's upcoming yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual

Two German Shepherd dogs will be seen in pivotal roles in the upcoming yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, being directed by K.C. Bokadia and starring Srikanth and Nikesha Patel in the lead. The film is a sequel to Bokadia's 1985 thriller Teri Meherbaniyan.

"In the original, there was a dog character called Moti. Similarly, the sequel features two German Shepherds, which appear in crucial roles. It's going to be a very interesting murder-mystery thriller," a source from the film's unit says.

The dogs have been flown in from London. While Srikanth will be seen as a police officer, Nikesha plays his wife. The film has so far been shot in Hyderabad and Jaipur.
