Music director Ghibran is all set to make his debut as a producer with Chennai 2 Singapore. Directed by Abbas Akbar, the film features Sathya and Hebah Patel in the lead.

Ghibran, who is also the film's composer, tells us, "The album is a special one for me. It has a new cast and we've been promoting the film in a different way. For instance, we travelled from Chennai to Singapore and released a song every time we entered a new country. It was fun. I initially came on board only as a composer, but later I decided to produce it as well." 

We hear the team showed the film to Kamal Haasan, who is said to have liked it. Ghibran also adds the film will be a fun ride like Pandiarajan's yesteryear film Katha Nayagan.
