At the audio launch of GV Prakash's Sema, director Pandiraj revealed that his next film would be with Karthi. He also added that Suriya would be producing it under his 2D Entertainment banner. A source now reveals that this untitled project is expected to start rolling once Karthi is done with Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru.

It’s also speculated that D Imman has been roped in for the music. Should this happen, the film will mark Imman's first collaboration with both Karthi and Pandiraj. Interestingly, all films of Pandiraj so far have had different music directors.
