Aishwarya Rajesh, who’s busy with Dhruva Natchathiram and Vada Chennai among other projects, will now act in a web series titled G-Spot. We hear the actress has already started filming for the series, directed by Vijay and bankrolled by SS Music. According to a source, she plays a social activist in the web series. “She has shot for two days and will continue shooting again after her Hindi film, Daddy’s promotional activities,” the source says. The series also has Priyamani and Aari in important roles.

When CE contacted Aari, he told us, “It’s going to be on the lines of Sherlock Holmes - an investigation thriller. I’ve almost agreed to be a part of it. I feel instead of making short films, we should pitch material for web series to better cater to an online audience. The concept of web series is catching on and it could be the alternative platform that we’ve been searching for for a long time. I’m looking to do more of them, so that other actors will also step forward as they simultaneously work on their mainstream projects.”
