Allu Arjun, who is on a roll with back-to-back hits in Race Gurram, Sarrainodu and DJ, has started shooting for his new film Naa Peru Surya -- Naa Illu India which marks the debut of writer Vakkantham Vamsi as the director.

“We are happy to kick-start the shooting in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The film is stuffed with all the commercial elements one expects from an Allu Arjun-starrer. Arjun Sarja plays a crucial role, while Sarath Kumar has been roped in to play the antagonist,” said producer Lagadapati Sridhar.

Anu Emmanuel plays the female lead in the actioner, which has music by Bollywood composer duo Vishal-Shekhar. The film will shot across the country and shows Allu Arjun as a military officer. Recently, the actor has hired a US-based trainer to get a makeover for his role.

Naa Peru Surya is scheduled to release on April 27, 2018.
