Are you one of the many who found the lyric video of Vijay's Oru Kutti Kathai from Master to be both cute and intriguing? Sleepless nights and days of hard work went into the five-minute-twenty-second video from a team of 20+ animators and Master crew. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's associate Logi, who pitched the idea and supervised the project, talks to us about the process.

"The idea for the animated lyric video sprang out of the team's desire to break cliches," says Logi. "Lokesh anna badly wanted to break the template. When I pitched the idea of this song, he really liked and took it forward. We hardly had ten days to come up with what you're seeing on screen today. We went sleepless for days together to deliver it on time and it was all worth it."

Logi continues, "For every single line, I wrote a basic sketch description based on the elements you see on a college campus and passed it to them. Then, they came up with 3D models based on that."

He credits Realworks Studios with being supportive till the very end despite the Master team suggesting last-minute changes. "This wouldn't have been possible without the support of the team and the producers."

Logi reveals that there are a lot of easter eggs in the video for the fans. "I wanted every visual element to be relevant to the theme of the movie. I believe the song will make a lot of sense when the fans rewatch it after the film's release."

Asked about the frame where Vijay is seen taking a selfie, he says, "To be honest, I planned it before that viral selfie of Vijay anna. It is definitely not a last-minute addition to cash in on the trend."
